These glands are responsible for secretion and managing of major hormones of our body.

Hormones are responsible for our mood swings, emotions, hunger, thirst, hormones like estrogen, testosterone, progesterone have a very important role in reproduction process. They are responsible for puberty in male and females and prepare their body for reproduction process. Progesterone is also a sex hormone but it is not considered as main sex hormones, as it plays a role in menstrual cycle.

For controlling unwanted reproduction process, a hormonal preparation is introduced in our body in the either form of hormonal tablets, hormonal pills, hormonal capsules etc.

These hormonal preparations are manufactured by pharmaceutical companies like Affy group who is the manufacturer of hormonal tablets, soft gelatin capsules etc. in India. They have huge list of hormonal preparations like levonorgestrel, Ulipristal acetate, progesterone, estrogen, progestin, mifepristone, misoprostol.
